Through These Eyes Photography began in 1998. During my career I have had the great opportunity to work in many exciting locations and photograph countless individuals along the way. I began my career along with my wife Erica at a children’s sports photography company based in Long Island NY, Legends Sports Photography. Photojournalism was calling to me. As a journalist, I worked for every major print media outlet in NYC, of which include: The NY Daily News, NY Times, Newsday, The Nassau Herald, and many others. Here, I had the opportunity to photography everything from professional sports, to local neighborhood leagues, high profile celebrities, intimate family events, everyday interests, fashion studio lighting and everything in between. This is where I really fine tuned my photography skills; to develop meaningful relationships with the clients and to shoot in any location and environment while “telling the story”. During this journey a friend convinced me to shoot their wedding and do some family portraits. A task I was hesitant to perform, I had heard all the stories about covering weddings. In the end I agreed. I truly fell in love with the personal connections made with families during some of their most memorable family moments. To date, my wife and I have photographed several hundred weddings and family events. All with their own story to tell. We are now located in Palm Beach County offering the same stunning photography and “turning your moments into memories”.
Mission:
Through These Eyes Photography & Video seeks to give back to the pet community in a special way.
On March 19th, 2022, we lost our first kitty “Ashley” that we adopted together. Or should we say, Ashley adopted us, she was only 4 weeks old. We were thankful to have the funds to be able to do all we could do for her while she was in the hospital fighting complications of a routine surgery. She was in the ICU for 36 hours with round the clock care. Loosing her has been devastating. Ash was 2 weeks shy of her 12th birthday. We thought how many people would not be able to do the same and have to have put their pet down. This got us thinking how can we give back to those people that can’t afford to pay the ER bill. We have started to work closely with our local community pet rescues & hospitals to contribute a portion of our bookings to Ashley’s Fund. A fund we decided to create to honor her memory and to help others so they do not have to endure what we did. Hopefully we can help to save someone’s loved one along the way.
